Before I comment, this is Dean's response to my assessment of his ramblings.

My response is, go ahead. Call your attorney. He'll tell you the same thing I'm about to tell you. The same thing that basically allows you to spew anything you wish, no matter how false and slanderous sounding it might be.
Freedom of Speech.
The problem is that you like to be the only one talking. You like the spotlight squarely on yourself and anyone else with an opinion can just shut up.

The bottom line is that if anyone associated with the band, especially the bandmembers themeselves, had anything to say...they wouldn't use you or anyone else to relay their messages.
Your friendships with bandmembers are delusion. If it were true and if this information were being fed to you from the inside, these individuals would have no problem with you mentioning their names. Since you can't produce names, that leads me to conclude that you are a fraud.
As long as you continue to spew your hatred and psychotic ramblings, I will continue to call you on it. Yes, I have the balls.

His attorney is a SHE. He posted an email from this self described well known attorney from New York on his blog, stating her interest in representing him.. One wonders what such a distinguised attorney would gain in pro bono representation of a delusional groupie. The absurdity is laughable. What isn't funny is the slanderous comments he is allowed to regurgitate unencumbered regarding a situation he has no part in.
Actually Rich, ur comments about Dean were slanderous & defamed him. U accused him of doctoring tapes, remember? Among other things. A lawyer could make a pretty good case out of that. To quote the now infamous words of Brian May, u have to own ur own poo. U might want to consider owning urs & taking those words off.

The truth is that Dean simply doesn't want anyone to challenge him. He simply wants to be able to spew his hate speech to everyone that will listen and to everyone else, just shut your mouths and don't dare ask me to put up the proof, or shut up.
The accusations of doctored tapes have been around as long as the supposed tapes have been out there. The band is on record as saying there is no truth to 'tapegate' and I have no reason to believe otherwise.
I realize when Deano barks the orders, many of you jump and fetch, but that won't happen here. Dean might as well get comfortable with others such as myself coming out and challenging him, as long as he can only offer what is so obvious to many to be the vile, bitter rantings of someone that is unhinged because his boy, the one he put all of his cards down on, was let go.
When Dean puts the proof of his contacts on the line and makes it something more than, my source tells me, I might lend him some creedence. From where I'm looking at this all from, the only one that is slandering anyone is Dean.
A bit of advice to whomever his lawyer might be. Check out all of Dean's commentary made and recorded at MR.com's Journey Forums over the past 2-3 years. He's made a career of slander and unwarranted attack.
If he's brave enough to bring a lawsuit, I'm brave enough to make him look like the self-serving loudmouth he really is.

I could prove it you so fast, but don't need to. You are delusional. I swear to you Rich, I am beyond words. You should hear the voicemails I have kept from the band members regarding tapes. You are about the only one who refuses to believe. Even SA has openly admitted it to friends.
As I said before. If the band, or any bandmember wanted to say something publicly, they would do it themselves, or Management would speak for them. Since that hasn't happened, I think it's safe to say they wouldn't use you, or anyone else, to leak information.
Even if I were to believe the band would leak information by proxy, why in the World would I believe that they would confide in you?
All you do is slander them and throw temper tantrums when you perceive they aren't following your direction.
I've seen enough of your posts throughout the years to know that everything you do is for one purpose. To shine the light on you and convince weak minded individuals that you are bigger and better than you truly are.
The truth is that you are an average joe, just like 99.9% of everyone that participates on any of these Internet Message Boards. With the exception of my affiliation with George Tickner, I am on the same level as you.
We are merely fans of a band, my friend. Nothing more and nothing less. When we come to the point where we believe we can control the inner workings of the band we support, we have crossed into the fanatical.
So, you're pissed JSS was let go. So what? Who the hell are you? We're talking about 5 grown men, all of whom are entered into a business relationship. Yes, that's what it is. A business relationship.
For whatever reason, Jeff didn't work out. Who are we to question why? Yes, we can voice our opinions, but they are only that. They don't change the fact that the band is a business and it supplies the cash that allows these men to support their families.
